PROGRAM
Saturday/Sunday: This is a 2-hour workshop for each participant.
The morning is a combination of a biomechanical evaluation and physical
therapy exercises on horseback. Beginners to advanced riders, English,
Western, Dressage, Jumping, and Saddleseat. All disciplines are welcome.
B.J. can also help you with exercises to bring a horse through an
injury. Regain confidence; develop a partnership with your horse.
B.J. is a expert on how the rider position affects the horse's ability
to move.
In
the afternoon, each horse will have a full body sports massage and
acupressure session lasting approximately 45 min.-1 hour. B.J. will
include stress reduction, relaxation, Swedish massage, acupressure,
and other alternative modalities to help relieve muscle soreness,
release toxins, and help with not only physical issues but also
mental ones too. This also enhances mental clarity for improving
focus on training and performance.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
B.J. Hartmann-Sheppard is the owner of Miracle Farm, Ohio's first
rehabilitation facility thAt merges traditional therapies with alternative
modalities for horses, dogs, and people. Miracle farm is the home
of both Alternatives For All, the company that she founded in 1995
and also the home of the Miracle Farm Rescue Foundation, Inc., a
non profit foundation for the rescue and rehabilitation of slaughterhouse
and sport horses. She attended Lakeland Community College and Cleveland
State University. She has certificates in Human Sports Massage,
Chiropractic Assistant, Equine Acupressure Level 1 and 2, Equine
Sports Massage, Geobiology Research, Canine Acupressure Level 1,
Reiki Level 1, Biodynamics, and Programming Small Computers. She
is the author of the video production "Grooming For The Health
of Your Horse", and is currently in the process of publishing
her first book "The Missing Link - what every equestrian wants
to know". She has been featured on radio, published in "Enlightenment's
Magazine" and the "Healthy Referral". B.J. has also
been a speaker at national equine and health expo's since 1996.

CLINIC COST: $175.00 FOR THE TWO-HOUR BIOMECHANICAL EVALUATION/MASSAGE
SESSION OR $90.00 FOR ONE.
AUDITING COST: $10.00 PER DAY.
STALLS AVAILABLE @$15.00 PER NIGHT.
