Hang out with the in-crowd at Olympia

Olympia International Show Jumping Championships 17th – 22nd December 2003 is where it’s at this Christmas as some of the UK’s favourite celebrities will testify! This year the show has the pleasure of the company of, amongst others, Jodie Kidd, Zara Phillips and Noel Edmonds.

One of the most stylish and beautiful figures in the modelling business Jodie Kidd is also famous for her love of horses and prowess in the saddle. She adores the show and has become something of a regular visitor, bringing family and friends to enjoy the first class competitions and displays as well as the fabulous shopping.

Recently listed for the British Equestrian Olympic Team, Zara Phillips has demonstrated remarkable equestrian talent and she’s still only 22! She is looking forward to being a ‘guinea pig’ in a Masterclass with Dressage guru Richard Davison in Olympia’s Dressage Gala Evening on Wednesday 17th December. This exciting evening is a first for Olympia and will be hosted by the well-known television presenter and radio broadcaster Noel Edmonds, whose two daughters have both represented Britain in Dressage.

A firm London Christmas family favourite for more than thirty years Olympia has always held a massive appeal to more than just equestrian enthusiasts. The show irresistibly combines traditional theatre, music and displays with top class equestrian competition to provide first class family entertainment.

Show Director Simon Brooks-Ward reports: “We have an extremely diverse and popular show programme this year, as well as a live band at each performance. The public seem to be very excited by it all as several performances are now down to the last few seats and private boxes are nearly all booked up. I recommend that anyone keen not to miss the show should book now to avoid disappointment.”

There will be eleven performances at Olympia from Wednesday, 17th December – Monday 22nd December. To book telephone the box office on 0870 733 0733 (00 44 115 912 9220 for international visitors) or visit the web site at www.olympiashowjumping.com. Tickets start from as little as £15 with concessions for Children 15 and under and Senior Citizens at certain performances. Tickets for the Gala Dressage Evening range from £9.00 to £21.60 and can be booked via the box office. For Private Boxes please call Jane Charley on 01753 847900.
