Celebrity Bartender Night To Benefit Outback/Sidelines

your calendars there has been a date change for the Celebrity
Bartender Night to benefit the Outback/Sidelines Equestrian Triathlon.
The event will take place on MONDAY, DECEMBER 8, 2003, from 5pm
to 8pm at Nicole's Village Tavern located at 12300 South Shore Boulevard,
in Wellington, Florida.
WELLINGTON,
FLORIDA November 25, 2003 A host of celebrities from
the equestrian world who are participating in the upcoming Outback/Sidelines
Equestrian Triathlon will serve up wine and spirits at Nicoles
Village Tavern in Wellington, Florida, on December 7, 2003, from
5pm to 8pm as a fundraiser for the event. Nicoles, a popular
restaurant and bar located at 12300 South Shore Boulevard in Wellington,
will donate a percentage of the evenings bar tab, the entire
tip jar, and a percentage of a special menu to the Triathlon.
The
Outback/Sidelines Equestrian Triathlon will be held December 27,
2003, at the Palm Beach Polo Equestrian Club show grounds in Wellington,
Florida. The beneficiary of this years Triathlon is the Make-A-Wish
Foundation® of Southern Florida, which grants the wishes of
children with life-threatening medical conditions.
At
Nicoles Celebrity Bartender Night, Samantha Charles, publisher
of Sidelines magazine and founder of the Triathlon, will be joined
behind the bar by a stellar crew including show jumping Olympian
Mason Phelps, Jr.; Jennifer Prior, DVM, of the Village Animal Clinic,
a presenting sponsor of the Triathlon; Gigi Stetler of RV Sales
of Broward, a Triathlon Team sponsor, along with three riders on
her team six-goal polo player Martin Estrada, show jumping
Olympian Nona Garson, and dressage Olympian Bent Jensen. Show jumping
star and USET member Candice King and Pan American dressage gold
medallist Lynda Alicki, who are both playing on John Goodmans
International Polo Club Palm Beach team, will also be playing bartender
for the cocktail hours. And Gold Coast Dressage Association Trainer
of the Year John Zopatti is sure to add his special blend of humor
to his special blend of mixed drinks.
The
public is invited to attend this special event in support of the
Outback/Sidelines Equestrian Triathlon and the Make-A-Wish Foundation®
of Southern Florida,

Gates
at the Palm Beach Polo Equestrian Club open at noon and the Outback/Sidelines
Equestrian Triathlon kicks off with a parade at 1pm on December
27, 2003. The Triathlon will feature competition in dressage, show
jumping, and polo, plus activities for the whole family including
a silent auction, pony rides, clowns, hair braiding for kids, and
shopping at vendor booths. A half-time show will entertain before
chukkers. Wrapping up the festivities will be an Olympic-style awards
presentation for the athletes and a wish presentation to one of
the Make-A-Wish children.
General
admission tickets are $10, with children 12 and under admitted free.
VIP tables in the Jockey Club overlooking the Internationale Arena
are $750, which includes seating for six and the Outback Steakhouse
lamb-and-shrimp buffet. Non-reserved seating in the Jockey Club
is $150 per person and includes the buffet. Outback/Sidelines Equestrian
Triathlon sponsorship packages are available.
