Wins Saddle Seat Medal Final

Cox, 17, of Danville, KY, riding Amandari (ASB: Supreme Heir
Glory Glory FVF, by Titleist), was crowned champion of the 2003
USAE Saddle Seat Medal Finals, held November 22, as part of the
UPHA/American Royal National Championship Horse Show in Kansas
City, MO.
Cox
topped the class of 32 entries in the two phase competition to
put the final jewel in her triple crown. She was victorious earlier
in the week in the UPHA Senior Championship, also held at the
UPHA/American Royal National Championship, and won the Good Hands
National Saddle Seat Championship held at the Pennsylvania National
in Harrisburg, PA.
The
reserve championship was awarded to Jessica Harrison, 18 of Andover,
KS, riding Longviews Two To Tango (ASB: Sovereign Memories
Secret Waltz, by CH Star Waltz). Both riders train at DeLovely
Farm. As champion Cox will have her name engraved on the Adrian
Van Sinderen Trophy and Helen K. Crabtree Perpetual Bronze. Champion
and reserve each received Triple Crown Custom horse coolers and
leather halters.
