LENNON WINS STOCKHOLM
GRAND PRIX AND LEADING RIDER AWARD
This morning (Sunday
December 2) Ireland's Dermott Lennon won the Stockholm
Land Rover Grand Prix on the Irish-bred <Liscalgot> scooping not
only the
10,000 Euro Prize Money for the class, but also a Land Rover car for the
Leading Rider Award at the Swedish fixture, which ends today.
Ireland's Billy Twomey
took second place in the Grand Prix with <Give Me
Remus>, winning 7,850 Euros.
Earlier in the morning
Lennon had also won the 1m35 international class on
<Dow Jones Courcel>, while last night his Irish team-mate Cameron
Hanley
took the Land Rover Cup competition on <Cloudy Night>.
