Equus Evening Extravaganza |
|
Three impressive new
evening performances will be featured at Equus, The Horse Event, to be
held from 4th to 7th April 2002 at the ExCeL exhibition centre in London's
Docklands.
"The Evening Extravaganza performances are fun filled, action packed
horse spectaculars combining skill, humour and entertainment" said
Sarah Cartwright, Director of Equus Event Ltd who organize the event.
"Everyone with even the slightest interest in horses will enjoy this
show."
Each of the evening performances will offer 2 hours of pure entertainment
featuring a number of unique acts. On Thursday 4th and Friday 5th April
the Evening Extravaganza will feature The HawkMaster Display, a stunning
presentation combining horses and birds of prey. Both sophisticated dressage
movements and comedy will play a part in performances by John and Charlotte
Lassetter and The King's Troop RHA will present their thrilling gun team
display. Tanya Larrigan will perform a comedy duo with Jacque followed
by the Mini Marvels® with their interpretation of Riverdance. There
will also be the beautiful Lusitano and Spanish stallions of El Caballo
de España, plus vaulting, side-saddle dressage and jumping, western
and trick riding.
On Saturday 6th April The Legend of Spain 2002 by El Caballo de España
can be seen for the first time. It is a theatrical spectacular, incorporating
beautiful Lusitano and Spanish stallions and flamenco dancers, directed
and produced by Peter Maddison-Greenwell.
"The evening performances will certainly be action packed. The full
programme will provide an exciting evening of entertainment for all the
family and will be enjoyed by everyone." said Tanya Larrigan who
will produce as well as star in the evening shows on Thursday 4th and
Friday 5th April 2002.
The Evening Extravaganza forms part of Equus - The Horse Event, a 4-day,
fully featured horse and rider exhibition. A wide range of stands featuring
everything for horse and rider plus country clothing and related articles
will provide ample opportunity for the keenest shopper. A full programme
of displays will take place in the main arena throughout the day and leading
riders from eventing, showjumping and dressage including Blyth Tait, Lucinda
Green, Tim Stockdale, and Richard Davison will demonstrate their skills.
The many attractions at Equus will provide an enjoyable day out with something
for everyone.
This concept of combining a horse and rider exhibition with an evening
of themed entertainment is new in the UK but it is already hugely successful
at many continental shows.
Equus, The Horse Event, will be held from 4th to 7th April 2002 at the
ExCeL exhibition centre in London's Royal Docklands. ExCeL is a state
