A
Top Equestrian Event!
The
Scottish crowds were enthralled by the second Scottish Christmas
Equine Fair that took place at the Royal Highland Showground, Ingliston,
Edinburgh on the weekend of 7/8 December.
With
an excellent visitor attendance, a stunning Supreme Equine Arena
programme and over 169 trade stands, this Contour Exhibitions &
Events organised Fair has become an eagerly looked forward established
event.
A
stunning opening of the show by Major Gordon Campbell from the Royal
Scots Association Pipe Band set the pace for the weekend. Huge crowds
determined to capture the buzz and excitement that pervaded the
showground were enthralled by the entertainment and shopping opportunities.
The
Supreme Equine Arena hosted some of the top names from the equestrian
world including Richard Maxwell who provided excellent displays
with problem horses, Sylvia Loch with her moving classical dressage
display to Phantom of the Opera, Andrew Hamilton's Showjumping demonstration
and not forgetting The Stallion Parade with horses from local studs,
The Scottish Icelandics and The Highland Pony Society who provided
a wonderful display of their breeds.
