Lennon Fourth At Maastricht
|
IRISH
World Champion show jumper Dermott Lennon took a fourth tonight
(Saturday) in the major speed class at Maastricht in the Netherlands.
Though
his main horse <Liscalgot> is still out of action, Dermott
has been acquitting himself well on the European circuit with his
second string horses, and tonight rode the eight yr-old Cavalier
Royale bay gelding <I Caesar> into fourth at the indoor venue,
a fraction of a second behind Germany's Tim Hoster.
The
class was won by Dutch rider Willem Greve on the stallion <KarandasJ>,
while the other Irish contender Jessica Kurten slotted her veteran
campaigner <Paavo N> into equal 15th place.
