KWPN Select Sale stallions on the internet

On Friday 1 February the second edition of the KWPN Select Sale will take place. Twenty-six three-year-old stallions have been entered in the catalogue and can be seen on the presentation video. Furthermore, from today on, the selected horses can be seen on the renewed internet site of the KWPN Select Sale. Extensive information about each stallion, including photographs in standing position, moving and free jumping, can be found on www.kwpn.nl.

On the KWPN Select Sale site there is also plenty of attention focussed upon the KSS VHO Sale. The selection for the sale is now in full swing; as soon as the thirty or so horses are known, the list of horses on offer will be put on the internet site. These horses will not be sold by auction but, during the three days of the stallions approvals in Den Bosch, are available for private purchase. The price will have been fixed by the owner ahead of time. For those who are interested, the KSS VHO Sales team can supply detailed information and show the horses in hand, in free movement or jumping.

The KSS VHO Sale will, then, take place during the three days of the stallion approvals; the best horses of the series will be on offer in the KWPN Select Sale on Friday evening, 1 February. For those present at the auction, bids can be made on the spot. As well as this, it is now possible, via a unique service, to bid online during the auction for the horses that are in the sales arena. The ‘internet auction’ is ‘real time’ and runs, thus, parallel to the auction in the Brabanthallen. The online auction can be followed by every internet visitor. In order to participate in the bidding, the internet visitor must first register via the site. After screening from the organization, seriously interested parties will receive a password and thereby the possibility to take part in the bidding. Applications can be accepted up to and including Thursday 31 January 2002. Information about joining the auction and buying via the internet will shortly be available on the www.kwpn.nl site.

All horses up for auction have been supplied with a Back Home microchip with a Virbac transponder code. Buyers in both the KWPN Select Sale and the KSS VHO Sale can immediately insure their purchase with Amev Hippo Paardenverzekering.
