Lisa Wilcox Returns
To New England
The New England Dressage
Association is pleased to
announce the return of American-born Grand Prix
dressage rider Lisa Wilcox of Capelln, Germany for a
clinic on "The Correct Use of the Seat through the
Levels". This clinic, sponsored in part by Dressage
Today magazine and Rowley Harness Shop, will be held
at English Range, a private dressage facility in
Derry, New Hampshire on Saturday and Sunday, April 6th
& 7th, 2002. Ms. Wilcox will be focusing on the one
element of the rider she finds the most important in
communicating with the horse, the seat.
In July 2001, the
United States Equestrian Team was
proud to announce that Ms. Wilcox became the first
non-European rider to enter the top 10 of the BCM FEI
World Dressage Rider Rankings. Just this November,
she moved from 10th place to 7th, thanks to her win of
the Kur in Bremen and her good results in the Grand
Prix and Kur of Dusseldorf. This will be Ms. Wilcox's
only clinic in the United States this year.
