Open Day 2002 at Studfarm Zangersheide

Expected run on Open Day on 24 February 2002

So far, the number of visitors of the Studfarm Zangersheide Open Day has doubled each year. This is not surprise in view of the international successes of the Zangersheide horses and interesting stallions stood by the Studfarm. An ever growing number of showjumping horse breeders ‘go’ to Zangersheide with their broodmares to claim some of the best sport blood. Naturally, you also want to keep up to date with what foundation mares are used at Zangersheide, which offspring of international sires is kept and which are sold and how in general an internationally orientated studfarm annex jumping stables fares.

Everybody is very welcome to come to the Open Day on the 24th of February 2002 and take a peek in the Zangersheide ‘kitchen’. The stables will be open for the public, you may look inside the laboratory, admire the facilities (such as our peerless covered horse-walking belt, on which ten horses in a string can get their daily training) and enjoy the two hour stallion show, in which all the Zangersheide stallions will personally present themselves to you, either under saddle over the fence, in the three basic gaits, or in hand. In addition to the ‘familiar’ ones, such as AK Chellano Z and Artos Z, also the newest acquisitions. But also Sire of the World 2000/2001 AK High Valley Z will be shown by Jos Lansink.
