horse Approved Rule Changes Available On USA Equestrian Web Site

Rule changes approved by the USA Equestrian Board of Directors at the Annual
Meeting, held January 9-13, 2002 in Charlotte, North Carolina, are available
on the USA Equestrian web site in the following locations:

* www.equestrian.org/rulechange/index.asp as two supplements:
1) approved rule changes effective prior to December 1, 2002, and 2)
approved rule changes effective December 1, 2002. Number one will be a
printed document, ready for Rule Book binder insertion, mailed to the Board,
Competition Contacts and Licensed Officials, and available upon request by
contacting Marie Murphy in writing at USA Equestrian, 4047 Iron Works
Parkway, Lexington, KY 40511 or e-mail mmurphy@equestrian.org.

* www.equestrian.org/rulechange/prc.asp, is the Summary of
Proposed Rule Changes with individual reports accessible and downloadable,
and includes all comments and final Board actions.

USA Equestrian Inc., as the National Equestrian Federation of the U.S., is the regulatory body for the Olympic and World Championship sports of dressage, driving, endurance, eventing, reining, show jumping, and vaulting, as well as 19 other breeds and disciplines of equestrian competition. As the country's largest multi-breed organization, the Federation has over 77,000 members and recognizes more than 2,800 competitions nationwide each year. It governs all aspects of competition, including educating and licensing all judges, stewards, and technical delegates who officiate at these shows.
