VALE WINS AT FLORIDA
STATE FAIRGROUNDS
TAMPA, FL - March 23, 2001 -
Aaron Vale of Rembert, SC has returned to the Cosequin Winter Equestrian
Festival and jumped right into the winner's circle aboard the 12 year-old
Holsteiner mare, Elan Coriana. Vale and Elan Coriana turned in double
clearrounds and the fastest jump-off time of 22.798 seconds around this
LeopoldoPalacious-Jugo (Venezuela) designed course.1998 Budweiser American
Grand Prix Association Rider of the Year, McLainWard of Brewster, NY crossed
the timers in 23.467 seconds, less than one second behind Vale to capture
second place up on the 11 year-old Dutch bred mare,Crazy U.
Action continues this week as
horsesand riders prepare for the 2001 $200,000 Budweiser American Invitational
onMarch 31 at Raymond James Stadium, a no holds barred competition of 30 of
thebest equestrians in the world. SchuylerRiley has qualified, as defending
champion and the top four riders in the AGARider of the year standings after
this Sundays Grand Prix Event, the $75,000Grand Prix of Tampa at 2:00pm will
be invited to compete. 2000 Olympians Laura Kraut and Margie Engleare
positioned in 1st and 2nd, Richard Spooner and BeezieMadden are in 3rd and 4th
