TEAM AMERICA WINS AHSA JUNIOR
DRESSAGE TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS PRESENTED BY COSEQUIN |
The American Horse Shows Association (AHSA)
announced today the results of the AHSA Junior Dressage Team Championships,
presented by Cosequin, which took place at the Festival of Champions in
Gladstone, NJ, June 14-17, 2001. This event, in its fifth year, is recognized
by the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) as a Junior Olympic event and
continues to thrive with the help of generous support from Cosequin. These
riders will go on to compete at the FEI North American Junior Dressage
Championship, at Paxton Farm, Cincinnati, OH, CDI***, June 28-July 1, 2001.

The American Horse Shows
Association, as the National Equestrian Federation of the U.S., is the
regulatory body for the Olympic and World Championship sports of dressage,
driving, endurance, eventing, reining, show jumping, and vaulting, as well as
19 other breeds and disciplines of equestrian competition. As the country's
largest multi-breed organization, the AHSA has over 70,000 members and
recognizes more than 2,600 competitions nationwide each year. It governs all
aspects of competition, including educating and licensing all judges, stewards,
and technical delegates who officiate at these shows.
