Crazy for Horses

I broke my arm when I was two,
Falling off my daddy's horse.
They put a cast upon my elbow
And put me right back up, of course.
My daddy went by "Cowboy."
He called my mama, "Girl."
"Lady" was HIS horse.
My mama rode "Big Squirrel."
Barrels, flags and
poles,
Chasing cows, and oiling tack.
Throw on a saddle today.
But tomorrow. ride bare back.
Penning and jumping
A hundred bales of hay.
Crazy for horses-
What else can I say?
