CORRECTLY FITTING SADDLES - VITAL FOR PERFORMANCE OF HORSE AND RIDER

Free ‘n’ Easy Saddles exhibit at The Yorkshire Equine Fair (Stand No. 66)

2/3 December 2000, Flower Hall, Great Yorkshire Showground

As the horse world becomes more competitive, there is an increasing awareness of the need to optimise performance while not in any way compromising the welfare of the horse – an issue which The Free ‘n’ Easy Saddle Company has highlighted with its emphasis on how significant a correctly fitting saddle can be to this. North Eastern riders will have the chance to find out more at The Yorkshire Equine Fair (Stand No. 66) on 2/3 December 2000 at The Great Yorkshire Showground.

Free ‘n’ Easy has spent the last 5 years searching for a “perfect saddle” and found the answer in a revolutionary and innovative flat panel construction which results in the only saddle in the world which is fully adjustable across the width and length of the horse’s back - as well as in the position of the stirrup bar and saddle seat. These unique attributes both ensure maximum freedom of action for the horse and encourage a natural, correct and balanced position for the rider.

The Classical Riding Club’s Sylvia Loch is one trainer who has used a Free ‘n’ Easy saddle with considerable success. She explains: “Correct saddle fitting is always crucial to the performance of the horse so visitors should find the Free ‘n’ Easy principles interesting whatever their personal choice of saddle or discipline.”

Free ‘n’ Easy will have their unique fully-adjustable, flat panel saddles on show at The Yorkshire Equine Fair for the first time. Current versions include a new-design dressage saddle, various endurance models, a general purpose and a jumping/general purpose saddle. Prices start at £540 including vat (for the endurance ‘Trekker’ version).

Present on the stand will be Free ‘n’ Easy’s local saddle fitter for the Yorks/Lincs region, Linzy Lyne, a well-known and respected horsewoman in the area. Linzy may be contacted on 01943 466573; or visit the company’s web site at www.free-and-easy-saddles.co.uk
