TV vet Sally Kingsley, of "Vets in Practice" fame, is taking part in this weekend's British Equine Event (4-5 November) at the NAC, Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire. Sally and a team of other vets will be on-hand in the "check with a vet clinic" for visiting horse owners to quiz about dealing with common ailments and injuries. Now in its 10th year, the British Equine Event offers advice and information on everything for the horse and rider and features "Talking Horses" seminars, breed societies and over 300 stands covering feed, veterinary products, stabling, the internet, transport and saddlery. With demonstrations from stars such as Burghley champion Andrew Nicholson, show jumpers Graham and Tina Fletcher and international dressage rider Kyra Kyrklund, the 2000 British Equine Event looks set to bring more than 15,000 visitors to Stoneleigh in Warwickshire over the weekend 4/5 November. The Veterinary Clinic is sponsored by Robinson Animal Healthcare and Your Horse magazine. The British Equine Event is organised by the Royal Agricultural Society of England in association with Your Horse and is sponsored by Dodson & Horrell, Eqvalan, Intervet and Martin Collins Enterprises The Royal Agricultural Society of England (RASE) strives to promote and improve the science, art and practice of agriculture and kindred activities through education, research and development To find out more about the Royal Agricultural Society of England (RASE) visit our web sites: www.rase.org.uk www.royalshow.org.uk www.nac-stoneleigh-park.co.uk |
